HOW CAN I FIND A LEGALLY DESIGNATED ANIMAL VACCINATION HOSPITAL?

All pet owners should only take their pets to be vaccinated at legally registered and officially designated animal hospitals in the PRC.

These officially designated hospitals are all required to purchase their vaccines through the Animal Husbandry Bureau which purchases excellent quality, internationally registered vaccines manufactured in Europe and North America.

Only officially licensed and designated vaccination animal hospitals are allowed to purchase and administer animal vaccines in Beijing. Check your animal hospital to ensure it is a designated vaccination animal hospital. Designated vaccination animal hospitals all will display a bronze plaque stating the following:

Official vaccination animal hospitals can also issue the immunity certificates (vaccination red books) that are needed to verify the vaccines your animal received are REAL and SAFE. These immunity certificates are also needed by owners to take their pets out of the country.

If you are unsure about the status of your animal clinic or hospital, please ask them to show you their license and registration and the bronze plaque that should be on display in their front office. If they do not have the bronze plaque and cannot issue you the official immunity certificate (vaccination red book), this is a sign that they are not an officially designated vaccination animal hospital and have NOT been approved to procure and administer legally registered vaccines.

Take caution as you may run the risk of having your animals injected with products that may be expired, improperly stored or replaced with substitutes at non-designated vaccination animal hospitals.

The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) is a legally registered and officially designated animal vaccination hospital in Chaoyang district.
