Day Care and Boarding at ICVS – Policies and rates

  1. Day Care and Boarding supervision and feeding schedule
    1. ICVS has staff member on premises at the hospital daily that is responsible for supervising animals under our care.
    2. Clients are responsible for providing their own food, snacks, treats, etc., for their day care and boarded pets. ICVS will feed only the food/treats/snacks provided by owners and according to owner’s detailed feeding instructions. Fresh spring water is provided daily for all pets
    3. Daily boarding logs are maintained by ICVS staff for each boarded pet (client may request copies of the boarding log which are kept in the patient file)

 

  1. Walking and exercise for day care and boarded pets
    1. As part of standard day care and boarding services, ICVS walks each dog 3 times each day for at least 15 minutes each time (total 45 minutes). Clients may sign up for additional daily walking time at RMB 15.00 per half-hour
    2. Overnight boarded cats may be let out of their kennels for “supervised playtime” by ICVS vet techs (15-20 minutes each day). Cats will remain in the boarding areas within the hospital facility. Cats are not permitted outdoors

 

  1. Medication administration during day care and boarding
    1. Should animal require medication administration during its day care or boarding (e.g., pills, injections, topical solutions, ear or eye drops, creams, lotions, etc.), ICVS vet techs can apply the medication supplied by client at rate of RMB 75.00 per day for up to two rounds of administration
    2. Nutritional supplements that owners request be mixed into the animal’s food will be done as part of regular feeding as per owner’s instructions
    3. Any nutritional supplements that cannot be mixed into food and must be administered in same way as medication (e.g., oral pills, etc.) will be charged at the daily medication administration rate of RMB 75 per day for up to two rounds of administration

 

  1. Boarding rates* (non-holiday periods)

 

(1) Regular boarding

  1.  
    1. Cats – RMB 45.00 per day (Up to 7-days), RMB 40.00 (More than 7-days)
    2. Dogs (under 35 cm) – RMB 70.00 per day (Up to 7-days), RMB 60.00 per day (More than 7-days)
    3. Dogs (35.1 cm - 60 cm) – RMB 90.00 per day
    4. Dogs (over 60 cm and/or over 30 KG) RMB 110.00 per day
    5. Additional daily walking time for dogs – RMB 15.00 per half-hour per day
    6. Medication administration – RMB 75 per day (up to two administrations daily)
    7. Additional services  - Ear cleanings, toenail trims and grooming may be scheduled while your pet is boarding. Please contact reception for rates for these services

 

             (2) Day care

 

(Monday to Saturday: 8:00AM-8:00PM, Sunday: 10:00AM-7:00PM)

 

a.   Cats – RMB 30.00 per day 

b.   Dogs (under 35 cm) – RMB 40.00 per day 

c.   Dogs (35.1 cm - 60 cm) – RMB 55.00 per day

d.     Dogs (over 60 cm and/or over 30 KG) RMB 65.00 per day

 

For day care pets that remain overnight, rates for boarding will apply.

Should animal require medication administration during day care (e.g., pills, injections, topical solutions, ear or eye drops, creams, lotions, etc.), ICVS vet techs can apply the medication supplied by client at rate of RMB 75.00 per day for up to two rounds of administration

 

 

*ICVS reserves the right to adjust final day care and boarding rates. Payment in full for day care and boarding and additional services required at time of drop-off with any additional balance due upon pick-up. All boarded dogs must be legally registered with registration ID card provided at time of check-in. Copy of original dog license/registration ID card is to be left with ICVS.

 

 

ICVS Holiday Boarding Rates:

 

Holidays may include Christmas, New Year, Labor Holiday, National day, Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), Tomb Sweeping Day (Qing Ming Jie), Dragon Boat Festival (Duan Wu Jie), Mid-Autumn Festival, summer holidays and other declared national holidays.

 

  • Cats – RMB 55.00 per day(Up to 7-days), RMB 50.00 (More than 7-days)
  • Dogs (under 35 cm) – RMB 90.00 per day(Up to 7-days), RMB 80.00 (More than 7-days)
  • Dogs (35.1 cm – 60 cm) – RMB 110.00 per day
  • Dogs (over 60 cm and/or over 30 KG) – 130.00 per day
  • Additional daily walking time for dogs – RMB 15.00 per half-hour per day
  • Medication administration – RMB 75.00 per day (up to two administrations daily)
  • Additional services  - Ear cleanings, toenail trims and grooming may be scheduled while your pet is boarding. Please contact reception for rates for these services.
