Newest 2013 regulations for China, EU countries, North America and Asia will be shared in addition to advice on pet transport safety and minimizing travel-related stress for you and your pets.  New airline regulations including cargo requirements and “winter blackout” periods affecting pet travel will also be shared.

ICVS experts will also answer questions on:

-       What vaccinations do I need to take pets out of China and to enter into my destination country?

-       What official vaccination certificates do I need for export? Are all vaccination certificates the same?

-       What is the new pet microchipping requirement for the Beijing exit health examination?

-       What kind of microchip do I need and where do I obtain one in Beijing?

-        How do I fulfill the rabies antibody titre test requirement to take my pet into European Union countries?

-       What is the difference between transporting pets as "check-in excess baggage" vs. shipping pets as "cargo"?

-       What are the new UK pet import regulations and how do I avoid quarantine for my pets?

-       How to take multiple pets out of China in light of the "one-pet-per-passport" regulation?

-       How to take pets out of China if the owner must leave the country before the pet?

-       How to take rabbits and other exotic pets out of China?

-       What pet relocation companies can help take pets out of China?

-       How to reduce the stress of travel on your pets and on yourselves?

-       What safe and effective calming remedies are available to help pets during travel?

The International Center for Veterinary Services is a legally registered and officially designated animal vaccination hospital and can provide the required legal rabies vaccination and official vaccination certificate for export. ICVS is delighted to provide this service to all pet owners, especially the international community.

Jada P. Smith with adopted puppy "Xiao Yong" and Willow Smith petting a kitten for adoption held by Dr. Zenithson Ng of ICVS. Mary Peng, Co-founder of ICVS, holds a special message from Jada and Willow encouraging pet adoption!

American actors Will and Jada Smith and their children, Willow and Jaden, rescued and adopted a beautiful little abandoned puppy they found in Beijing while son Jaden was filming “The Karate Kid.” The newest member of the Smith family has been named “Xiao Yong” (“Brave Little One”) and is cute and friendly, and very loving!

While visiting ICVS and learning about the Trap-Neuter-Return program, Jada and Willow also fell in love with two stray kittens, Efigenio and Bonafacio, that were rescued from the compound of the Embassy of Portugal by the Ambassador and his wife.

"Efigenio Smith" (white cat) and "Bonifacio Smith" (yellow and white cat)

All three pets were adopted in Beijing and brought to the USA by the Smith family. Xiao Yong, Bonifacio and Efigenio Smith are three beautiful stray animals that were adopted and given a wonderful new life in a loving forever home!

Jada and Willow send everyone a special message to please consider adopting the many wonderful available pets needing loving forever homes:

“There are so many animals that need to be adopted. There are so many animals that need a home. But mostly, there is an animal that needs your love!” – Jada P. Smith

“There are some animals that need to be adopted and we can help. And they need your love!” – Willow Smith

Please visit the “Adoptable Pets” page on the ICVS web site to find the perfect pet for you!

Please also contact ICVS for information about qualified animal shelters, animal rescue volunteers and families with pets that need to be rehomed in your neighborhood.

“Trap-Neuter-Return Workshop – Humanely & Effectively Managing Stray Cats”

At The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS)

Are you living with an ever-expanding colony of stray cats in your compound? Come learn about Trap-Neuter-Return, the most humane and effective method available to end the severe feral and stray cat overpopulation crisis in Beijing. The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) is providing FREE TNR training and certification to cat care providers and volunteers to promote the development of community-wide TNR programs. Certified TNR practitioners may borrow traps for FREE from the ICVS trap bank and request assistance from ICVS TNR experts and volunteers for mass trappings.

ICVS' TNR workshops and humane animal welfare programs are recognized and endorsed by the Humane Society of the United States, the Humane Society International, the International Fund for Animal Welfare,  the ASPCA and the Jane Goodall Institute China. ICVS has helped volunteers implement TNR programs at the Embassy of New Zealand, the Embassy of the United States of America and the Delegation of the European Union to China. ICVS trains student Roots & Shoots Groups from the Jane Goodall Institute in China, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America, international and local students and private citizens working to control the stray cat populations in Beijing, Tianjin and many provinces throughout China!

Come learn more about TNR and attend the ICVS workshop to become a TNR practitioner and help effectively control the population of stray and feral cats in your neighborhood!
